Over the years, Grant & McMurtrie Professional Investigators have significantly developed their capabilities in undertaking both urban and rural surveillance, as well as undercover assignments.

As far as our surveillance fleet is concerned, we have recently invested in fully equipping our vehicles with the latest digital video equipment. We also have a motorcycle at our disposal which is particularly effective when undertaking surveillance in an urban area.

We continually invest in the latest technology to assist us in carrying out surveillance. We have a great deal of experience in obtaining video evidence by using our digital video cameras, covert cameras and covert CCTV surveillance systems, and also have the capability of obtaining video evidence at night using infrared devices.

Although the majority of our work is now more for commercial clients, we still offer a full professional investigation service in respect of matrimonial matters. We have been undertaking matrimonial investigations since our firm was established in 1965 and we act for both private clients and solicitors, including those acting for clients receiving Legal Aid.

Our team of professional investigators is fully trained in the collation of evidence and we always provide our clients with a full report detailing the surveillance. We also provide a copy of the video evidence obtained and digital still images which can be used for identification purposes. We design our reports in a format which allows our clients to use them for court purposes if required.

Our recently recruited Operations Manager and Team Leader are police-qualified, level 1 surveillance operatives and qualified in rural surveillance (CROPS) and close target reconnaissance.
