SERVICES Grant & McMurtrie provide a full range of investigative services and can undertake assignments throughout the world. In particular, we service the Central Belt of Scotland through our fully staffed offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow. On behalf of certain clients, our own full-time staff supply investigation services throughout the United Kingdom. Through our network of agents and contacts, we can offer an investigation service on a more local basis throughout the whole of the United Kingdom and indeed the world. Grant & McMurtrie provide a wide range of services to differing clients. A large number of our clients are specifically interested in certain services and, over the years, will have little cause to call upon our expertise in other areas, but many of our clients, particularly solicitors, utilise a wide range of our services. Our firm will undertake any legal/ethical investigation and the following is a list of some of the more common areas we cover: Surveillance - we undertake surveillance in a wide variety of different assignments, including personal injury surveillance, absenteeism, breach of contract/restrictive covenant, theft, matrimonial, etc. Traffic and Industrial Accident Investigation - we act on behalf of a number of insurance companies and solicitors in investigating both traffic and industrial accidents, to include photographs, locus inspections and proofs of evidence. Tracing/Pre-Sue Reports - we act on behalf of a number of banks, finance houses and others in tracing and, where necessary, providing pre-sue reports. Pre-Employment Screening - this can include the verification and validation of claims made on Curriculum Vitae, as well as more in-depth research into the applicant's background. Civil and Criminal Investigations - these include litigation support and intelligence, as well as obtaining evidence through research and statements/precognitions. Commercial Investigations - these include undertaking investigations into theft, industrial sabotage, product piracy and counterfeiting. They often involve surveillance and undercover assignments. Corporate Investigations - these include due diligence, breach of contract/covenant and obviously counter industrial espionage, including de-bugging. They also include checking out the backgrounds of individuals or companies. Divorce and Matrimonial Investigations - we are experienced in obtaining evidence, both for court purposes and for peace of mind.
