PROFILE The firm of Grant & McMurtrie was established in 1965 and initially operated from small basement premises at 3 Grosvenor Gardens, Edinburgh. As we expanded over the years, we took over more space within the premises and eventually, we leased the whole first floor. In 1995 we purchased city centre premises at 7 Palmerston Place Lane, Edinburgh, which were perfect for our operation, particularly as we had ample parking, a rarity in Edinburgh City Centre. In 1989 we opened a fully staffed office in the West of Scotland situated at 11a Lynedoch Street, Glasgow. We have recently moved to more suitable premises at 10 Sandyford Place, Glasgow G3 7NB. As well as general investigations, our firm specialises in corporate investigations acting for a large number of public companies, as well as smaller companies. We also act for several insurance companies, banks, finance houses and other corporations. In addition we undertake a considerable amount of corporate investigations through firms of solicitors. We have a wide range of specialist equipment and are one of the few firms in Scotland who can offer a full counter-surveillance service by utilising our state-of-the-art "de-bugging" equipment - SEE EQUIPMENT PAGE To assist with research we are on-line to various databases including consumer credit and company information databases. All our staff are employed full-time and are all registered with the Institute of Professional Investigators. We do not employ any part-time or casual members of staff thus ensuring high standards.
